"Once Upon a Storytime" Ballet Benefits

Ballet Aligned believes in the power of art as a force for good in the world! This Series is an opportunity for ballet students to share their developing talents with the broader community while making a positive impact in the lives of others. Velveteen Rabbit is being produced in support of improving children's literacy through the non-profit, Operation Literacy. We hope our combined efforts inspire a love of reading, foster creativity, and provide young people with the tools they need to tell their own stories! In the past, our benefit series has raised over $8,000 for Cache Valley causes, including The Little Lambs Foundation, The Family Place, Zootah, and the Loaves and Fishes Community Meal. This ballet is based on the wonderful children’s story The Velveteen Rabbit, written by Margery Williams. There are butterflies, mechanical toys, dancing rabbits, and a breathtaking fairy! Come see this brand new production, complete with new sets, lighting, and delightful dancing from local ballet students and stars!
