Join Chefs Anne-Marie and Matt for a “Simple Sushi” demonstration!
This class will take place in the demo kitchen and will involve some light hands-on instruction on a volunteer basis. Guests can expect to learn how to roll sushi in their own homes, using common ingredients and techniques that anyone can learn. This class will not involve any raw fish. Instead, the goal of this class is to learn a fun activity for the whole family or dinner parties, using ingredients more familiar to the American palate. Guests can expect to watch the demonstration, roll different styles of sushi using a sushi mat, and taste a small portion of each. As a bonus, the chefs will present methods to create easy sushi condiments and a simple Japanese-inspired dessert.
