Hey parents!
Pumpkin Days are just around the corner! That means cooler weather, pumpkins everywhere, and a whole lot of fun happening at North Logan Rec. We have a fun field adventure planned almost every weekend, and here are a few highlights to get things started:
The Golden Pumpkin Hunt
Every week, we’ll hide a Golden Pumpkin somewhere around town and post a clue on the North Logan Rec Facebook page and Instagram. Find the Golden Pumpkin, bring it into the HSC, and you’ll get a prize!
Mad Scientist
Things are about to get a little weird in the lab! Explore mysterious experiments, create creepy-cool crafts, and enjoy an evening of mad science.
October 5
Ages 5–8: 4:30–6:30 PM
Ages 9–14: 6:30–8:30 PM

Spots are already filling up, so don’t wait until your child has decided they must become a scientist to sign up!
Pumpkin Run 5K & Monster Mile
Get your running shoes ready and prepare to be chased by… well, hopefully nothing too serious.
Our annual Pumpkin Run 5K is for ages 14+ and is only $10. Kids 13 and under run FREE!
Or take on the Monster Mile, featuring Halloween-themed obstacles along the way, including Poisoned Pumpkins, the Creepy & Crawly Tunnel of Fun, and even dinosaurs chasing you. Because apparently a normal run wasn't scary enough.
And that's just the beginning! We have plenty more pumpkin-filled, spooky, and family-friendly activities happening throughout the month.
