Logan City is sponsoring nine projects for the National Day of Service on Sept. 11, in concert with Cache Valley Community Days of Service, to honor the lives lost 25 years ago and the spirit of unity that followed.

Projects are focused on beautifying various parts of the city and are scheduled from 9 a.m. until noon.

Individuals and families can sign up at www.justserve.org/CacheValleyDayofService. Groups, churches, organizations or businesses that would like to adopt a project may contact the city at dayna.mckinnon@loganutah.gov.

Projects include:

• Bridger Bike Park Weed Removal

• Logan Soccer Complex Landscape Beds and Parking Lot

• Park Strip Cleanup Along 200 South

• Park Strip Spruce Up Along 200

• 1700 South Blacksmith Fork River Landscape Beds

• Rendezvous Park Spruce Up· Willow West Park Shoreline Debris Cleanup

• Landscape Bed Cleanup Along 10th West in Logan

• Trail Clearing at New Outdoor Rec Complex

Volunteers must complete and bring the waiver available at the link above, and are encouraged to bring gloves, shovels, rakes and other equipment.
